Rhali Gabrielon von Gerach de Portillo

In 1394, Rhali was born in the Elemental Plane of Air with Aarakocras, his first flock. The War of Dawn still raged in the inner planes in those years. In the Elemental Plane of Air, the seven Wind Dukes of Aaqa and their servants, Aarakocras, were fighting against the demonic forces and anyone who posed a threat. When the Dukes went off against the demons and Miska, Prince of Demons, in the battle of the Fields of Pesh to banish him, his flock protected the home from Yan-C-Bin, Prince of Evil Aerial Creatures. Rhali trained to protect his flock and defend them from projectiles that would otherwise bring them down from the skies, and when there was an opening, he'd give them a window to use their ferocious talons against our enemies. Rhali would act quickly when ordered. His training was diligent, but war kept draining him emotionally due to the continuous loss of his brothers and sisters. At the time of the war, Yan-C-Bin allied with Olhydra and Imix, which brought many of the Aarakocras down, and this included Rhali, who was still 14 at the time. He fell from soaring the skies and landed on the lands of Kaalderas, softening his landing by the leafy branches of the trees. Gabriel de Portillo, who was traveling back to Sares after visiting the neighboring city, found Rhali severely injured. After treating Rhali's wounds, Gabriel adopted him as a son into the monarchy of the two families, de Portillo and von Gerach, living within the walls of Sares, a port city located in the County of Morgon. The de Portillo family ruled Sares for a hundred years after discovering the place, receiving support from Morgrad to build it. In 1380, the von Gerach came to Sares to establish connections with de Portillo, which led to a monarchy of two families as Agatha von Gerach married Gabriel de Portillo. Von Gerach's ancestry consisted of sorcerers and wizards. Long ago, the descendants of the de Portillo family discovered the continent and built the city with the help of Morgrad and mercenaries. The latest ruler of Sares was Rhali's father, Gabriel de Portillo, and his mother, Agatha von Gerach. Gabriel was a researcher within the clan of crafters, Belkrod, and Agatha was a wizard teaching at the Sares Wizard Tower. Throughout the years, Rhali swore to protect his new flock and went to the temple to serve as a Cleric while also studying with his new father and mother about current relations with other houses, states, and politics, including some of their crafts. At the age of 18, Rhali would not only aid the injured and poor in the temple of the Sares city but also work as an investigator for any unusual activities, such as demons and undead.   In 1412, Gabriel was killed by a group of assassins, reported by the city watch as they escaped the premises. His death caused a power vacuum and chaos to erupt in Sares. Countess Agatha left with her associates in search of the culprit right after two weeks of her husband's death, not returning afterward. Three months after Gabriel's death, the clan leader, Izmar, died of illness, and his wife, Bjarka, took his place after a month had passed.   In 1413, an unexpected clan separation occurred, where mercenaries scattered as Bjarka and the remaining members chosen by her left without any notice. With the separation of the famous clan in Sares and the loss of his adopted father and mother, Rhali failed to protect his new flock as he did with the old one, so he left the city in shame despite still having siblings back home, traveling for a decade, periodically coming back to Sares to visit the temple he was in the youth and check if his mother was back home after her undisclosed departure.
