Any creature atop it must attempt a Reflex Save against DC 16. If critically successful, stay on the creature's back. If normal success they get bucked off, but land on their feet, fully aware, alert, ready to continue. If a normal failure they are thrown off and land prone. If a critical failure they also take 1d6+4 bludgeoning damage in the fall.   Scent: +2 to Perception, 60 feet, if sense of smell can apply.   Low-Light Vision: 60 feet   Environmental Familiarity (Forests): This creature is naturally very comfortable in the forest and never has any challenge with that terrain in its natural form. It cannot suffer any movement penalties from any natural effects of terrain within forests or woodland, so long as it stays on land.   Startled Charge: Open Trait. Must be used first round of combat. The startled elk strides twice (able to move up to double their movement speed) and make a hoof attack, which if it hits, it deals an extra 1d4 bludgeoning damage.
