Travesuran

The origins of the Travesuran are unknown, even to their own scholars. But what is taught by their many priests; is that they were made as a purpose, not with one. Or what purpose they had either failed or otherwise irrelevant; but "Can be shared again in glorious union." What is theorized however, is that they were the result of Devan experiments to create beings such as the dwarves. They must have learned to do it somehow. What better to learn from than your own grown lab rats?

Empathic Touch

once per short rest, you can touch another creature and know the following:
  • the creature's currrent emotional state
  • if they are lying
  • if they have conditions that aren't magically induced by level 3 or higher spells (such as diseased, poisoned, cursed etc)
After using the ability in this way, you have advantage on insight checks for that creature for the next minute.  

Darkvision

You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.  

Keen Senses

You have proficiency in the Insight, Perception, or Survival skill. if you choose any of these skills as a class skill yor your character, this feature givess the chosen skill expertiese instead of proficiency.  

Naturally Stealthy

You can take the Hide action even when you are obscured only by a creature that is at least one size larger than you.  

Resilient Ancestry

You have advantage on Constitution saving throws versus non-magical poison and disease. additionally, the poisoned and diseased conditions only last half as long.
The Travesuran only emerged some hundred years ago in the swamps of central draxius, but their true origins are unknown. It is possible that they have connections in the great web wood, or perhaps the many cavernous tunnels of the underdark, but the Travesuran are reluctant to give up their secrets; atleast the "civilized ones" are. It's not at all helped that there were several other ancient folk-tales all over alkolon of rat-men in the tunnels, or rat-headed goblins in the deeper forests of Alkolon, however most searches ended in failure or dissapointment. Many have tried asking them, but the truth is that they can't remember often times.   The Travesuran are a most strange and peculiar species. Along with their unnerving appearance and skittish tendencies they appear to be natural empaths; able to feel emotions, sensations, and even diagnose poisons and dizeases through touch, but that is nowhere near the strangest feature they posess. It has been observed and proven that they grow more intelligent and aware the more of them there are in a localized area. The specific radius of this effect varies, but supposedly every travesuran member in a group over a hundred will start to display an accute pattern recognition and alertness after about two weeks together. Their main city Raketta with over fourty thousand of them does not have a jury process because each Travesuran is able to sense intent and lies with the ability to determine if they meant ill will by their actions or not. What's stranger still, is that Travesuran who leave this city for a period over a couple days will start to deteriorate mentally, loosing comprehension in their learned knowledge and gained senses. This seemingly psychic sense is known as "the Union"
