HUMANOID
Thalassans evolved along rivers, deltas, and coastal ruins. Webbed hands, gills, and streamlined physiques make them master swimmers and hunters of fish, crustaceans, and submerged prey. They navigate sunken temples and flooded ruins with ease, respecting apex predators as sacred trials.
Culturally, Thalassans value knowledge of tides, currents, and sunken history. They are artisans, hunters, and protectors of delicate underwater ecosystems. Many serve as guides, treasure hunters, or wardens of submerged settlements. Their songs mimic water sounds, used for communication and ceremonial rites.
