Once a legendary spy and veteran of the civil war between the magisters and the old resistance. Strix was on assignment to infiltrate a band of insurgents holed up in the Shattered Wastes when the magister was killed only learning of it three months after the fact through one of his many networked informants. After the news was relayed he was soon after recalled from his assignment, given no information that the new rebel's where involved or a credible threat to the stability of the realm. As an infiltrator for the magistrates he often kept tabs on others stationed in high ranking offices. When it was brought to his attention that another ranking officer that had risen through the rank surprisingly quickly had left only days after the murder he followed after her suspecting that she may have been a spy herself, or a rouge agent with her own motives for the murder. Worried from other whispers surrounding the murder strix is aware that the disruption of stability offered by The Magistrates Consortium could put the realm in danger of unleashing all out war between the kingdoms.

Out of loyalty to the Magisters Consortium and the peace of the realm Strix looks to hunt down the Assassin responsible for the Old Magisters death.

Strix is also trying to relay information to the Consortium to quell the unease of the people and contain the prospect of all out war to a minimum.
