Description

I'm unable to make the text of a link italic or bold in Plutarch. For instance, when referencing the title of a book my style guide calls for that title to be italic. In Plutarch, I can either make the text italic or make it a link but not both. I've observed the behavior in both Safari and Firefox on macOS 26.4.1 (and in versions before this).

Steps to Reproduce

Create a link in Plutarch
Highlight the text and press CMD+I to format it as italic.
Note that the text turns italic in the editor, BUT
Click on "View in World" and note that the italic formatting is now gone.

Hey there! As link is considered a special inlince block in Plutarch, currently we do not support text formatting inside it. However, if this feature is important to you, feel free to propose it here: https://www.worldanvil.com/community/voting/ .Thank you for the feedback!
