Attempting to remove the world from the URL (https://worldanvil.ashenfall.com/t2/history-of-totemreach-timeline) gives us the below error message

We can't establish a connection to the server. Is your internet connection infested with Udans?   If you think there's an issue with World Anvil, please message our team on Discord or Twitter (@WorldAnvilTeam)!

Note: This may be due to a recent fix for Timelines in Presentation mode (URL routing). In this case, we have three attempted URLs:
  1. www.worldanvil.com/w/ashenfall/t2/history-of-totemreach-timeline - works as intended. Main Presentation URL
  2. worldanvil.ashenfall.com/w/ashenfall/t2/history-of-totemreach-timeline - custom domain with custom domain URL bug (extra world slug in path), doesn't work
  3. worldanvil.ashenfall.com/t2/history-of-totemreach-timeline - correct custom domain URL, doesn't work (Prodromos "can't connect" bug)
I'll investigate this and collaborate with my coworker when they return to the office.

Hello! Any update on this bug? It's breaking our timelines and I'm trying to figure out if we should be updating all our links to point to the non-dns version of the site

Sorry for the delay in responding! I've been consumed by many (some large) projects, but I had relayed this to the developer of Timelines. I'll poke them about this, as the fix will be in how the timelines tool loads data from the server. I'll share the earlier findings from my first response here (again) in case they have missed it.

Just a quick update: I am still looking into this. I've done a bunch of testing and have narrowed down the main issue with the interface crashing, but a fix is taking longer than expected. Also looking at the secondary bug (where some links provide the incorrect address to the timeline (including the world slug) when the custom domain already maps this).
